Statement of General Policy
Action in the Community To Support North Wales and Cheshire (ACTS) currently has no employees and is run by volunteers. The trustees have responsibility for health and safety and for ensuring that any policy is put into practice.
If ACTS does consider becoming an employer, the trustees will ensure that any health and safety issues are considered and acted upon (including, but not limited to, the prevention of accidents, training, engagement with employees, emergency procedures such as evacuation in case of fire, and maintaining a safe working environment).
For any events to which members of the public are invited, a risk assessment will be carried out. Any such events will also have appropriate insurance.
