Vision and Values
Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.
Mark TwainGuard well within yourself that treasure, kindness. Know how to give without hesitation, how to lose without regret, how to acquire without meanness.
George SandNo act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.

We exist to
We believe that, when kindness is put into action, that it benefits:
- The giver (you!)
- The person who is the subject of a kindness
- Society – we believe that kindness helps to build better communities
Kindness can be something that is planned or spontaneous. It can be made in big or small gestures, in the extraordinary or in the every-day. As a charity, we want to encourage people to think of kind things that they can do, and then do those things. So we want to support you to put kindness into action.
We believe that kindness can be demonstrated in all sorts of ways – not just with money, but with thought, time, effort, skills etc. Small kindnesses can have a big effect.
We believe that kindness, like a stone dropped into water, can ripple outwards.
Unexpected kindness is the most powerful, least costly, and most underrated agent of human change.
Bob KerreyThe smallest act of kindness is worth more than the greatest intention.
Oscar WildeDo your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.
